From Luxembourg to Ischia: our Erasmus journey continues!
We left Luxembourg at dawn and, after the flight, the Alibus and our journey across Naples, finally the sea!
The ferry trip gave us our first wonderful surprise: a stop in Procida, with its colourful houses overlooking the harbour, and then our arrival in green and lush Ischia.
But the best part was waiting for us at the harbour, being together again after the days we shared in Luxembourg, after months of messages, keeping in touch and making plans and promises. The hugs on our arrival reminded us that, in the meantime, real friendships have grown, along with shared expectations and, above all, the excitement of being together again.
All of this is also possible thanks to the extraordinary kindness and generosity of all the families involved, both in Luxembourg and in Ischia, who have opened their homes and made this exchange a genuine experience of meeting and sharing.
Perhaps this is the most beautiful part of Erasmus+, you leave to discover another country and find yourself with new friends and a second home. 🇪🇺
