Art. 33. The “High School Conference Committee
A High School Conference Committee is established at each secondary school. Its responsibilities are:
- to represent the teachers to the school management, to the minister, and to the students’ committee and the parents’ committee;
- to submit proposals to the head of the school on all matters relating to teaching and education within the school;
- to make proposals concerning the continuing education of staff;
- to issue general recommendations regarding the distribution of teaching, supervision, and student care duties;
- to prepare the positions of its representatives for the school council;
- to organize cultural and social activities.
The head of the school meets with the High School Conference Committee whenever it requests a meeting. The head communicates all information related to its various responsibilities, as well as information concerning staff continuing education.

The High School Conference Committee is elected by the high school conference. It delegates four of its representatives to the school council. The High School Conference Committee establishes its own internal rules of procedure.
