ACCU classes are reception classes in secondary education aimed at supporting newly arrived Learners or those needing language support, typically aged 12 to 15 years. These classes provide a transitional, supportive learning environment that helps Learners integrate into mainstream education.

Who Is It For?

  • Learners recently arrived in Luxembourg with limited proficiency in French, German, English, or Luxembourgish.
  • Learners assessed (e.g. via CASNA tests) as needing linguistic and academic integration.

A 15-minute break is scheduled:

  • every morning at 9:30 a.m.;
  • on Thursdays and Fridays at 11:15 a.m.;
  • on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at 2:15 p.m.

During the lunch break—and occasionally at the end of the school day—supervised activities are offered to Learners.

After classes, a study and support session is offered from Monday to Thursday.
